How you can help
We need your support
When we invest in our local community, we all benefit.
We’re appealing to people living and working in the borough to come together to take collective action, pool donations and ensure funding goes where it is needed most.
Together, we can tackle hidden needs and make a real difference to people living locally.

Tackling the causes of social isolation
Social isolation is more than just loneliness – it’s a lack of social connection, community, and support when it is most needed.
All of us rely on community networks in our lives – whether family, friends, local groups. When these networks break down or are inaccessible, individuals are left rudderless. Tackling social isolation builds a stronger, more vibrant Richmond community, where all people are able to thrive.
Combating social isolation means a stronger, more resilient Richmond for everyone.
- 17% of households in Richmond are single-person, putting many, especially older people, at risk of social isolation.
- Levels of food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty are all increasing within the borough year on year.
- Mental health conditions, grief, illness, disability, and poverty are all risk factors leading to social isolation.
Help us build a community that supports those who need it most.
