How you can help
We Need Your Support
OneRichmond is appealing to those living and working in the borough to come together to take collective action, pooling donations and directing them towards where they can make the most difference for people across our local area.
With your help, we can strengthen unpaid carers’ support networks, and fund organisations creating the biggest impact.
If you are able, please donate today, and make a difference to the lives of carers in our community like Rosamund and Jamal.
Richmond Carers Centre – Parent Carer
A mum who has been a lifelong carer for her son is now helping other people in her situation get help and advice after discovering the support for unpaid carers available in her local community.
There’s no one else to turn to but Crossroads
Gemma* cares for her 95-year-old Mum, living with Vascular Dementia. She shares how the Crossroads Care Caring Café lifts both of their spirits…
Local Carer – Anonymous
I was a carer for my 83-year-old Mum for the last 3 years of her life, during the Covid years which was a real struggle. I never knew where to get help or support, I was working full time and the whole family were at home all the time!
Young Carer – Richmond Carers Centre
Jamal, aged 10, helps provide care and support to his mother who suffers from poor mental health and experiences chronic fatigue. Jamal is the eldest of two siblings – a younger sister who is 8 and a brother who is just 1 years old.
Please help us continue giving to organisations in Richmond upon Thames.

How You Can Help
There are numerous ways in which you can make a difference.
From offering a one-off donation to regular giving, promoting a corporate or school partnership, to organising an event, we simply can’t do it without you.
Our Impact
We believe that, to address problems inside the community, the solutions themselves must come from within. OneRichmond’s early grant-making has already achieved significant impact for our local community. £220,600 has so far been distributed to numerous worthwhile causes. A few examples are shared here:
- £20,000 to Richmond AID, to employ a part-time trainee adviser for 1-year to support case work, providing advice and referring onto specialist benefits or money advice advisors.
- £10,000 to Integrated Neurological Services, to aid delivery of their hybrid service to support engagement with vulnerable service users who were isolating due to the pandemic.
- £10,000 to TAG Youth Club for Disabled Young People, providing short-breaks, day trips and Parkour sessions for young people with additional needs and young carers.
